Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about MartGeo.
For Buyers
Finding and ordering building materials.
What is MartGeo?
MartGeo shows you which nearby shops have the product, property or service you need. Search on a map, see which shops in your area have it and how far away they are, then contact the shop directly by phone or WhatsApp. MartGeo is not a shop itself — there is no cart, no delivery and no commission. You deal directly with the shopkeeper.
Which areas does MartGeo cover?
MartGeo currently covers B-17 (Multi Gardens) in Islamabad and Faisal Hills in Taxila. We add one society at a time as local shops, dealers and kaarigars join, so coverage grows steadily rather than thinly across the whole country.
What can I find on MartGeo?
Three things: products from local shops (mobile phones and accessories, electronics, opticals, perfumes and general retail), property listed by local dealer offices (plots and houses for sale and rent, with plot number, block, size and demand), and kaarigars — masons, auto mechanics, solar and UPS technicians, tailors, AC and fridge technicians, welders, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and more.
Can I order or pay through MartGeo?
No. MartGeo has no cart, no online payment and no delivery. It shows you who has what nearby; the purchase happens the way it always has — directly with the shopkeeper, at the shop or over WhatsApp.
Is MartGeo free for buyers?
Yes, completely free. You do not even need an account: open the site in any browser, set your location and search. There is no app to download.
Why do some listings not show a price?
Many shopkeepers prefer to quote their price directly rather than publish it. Those listings show "Available — contact shop", and you agree the price with the seller on WhatsApp or by phone. Where a shop has listed a price, you will see it.
How do I contact a shop or kaarigar?
Every listing has Call and WhatsApp buttons that reach the shop's own number directly. There is no in-app chat and no middleman — you talk to the shopkeeper or kaarigar yourself.
For Sellers
Listing products and reaching buyers.
How do I list my shop on MartGeo?
Sign up as a seller, add your shop and its location on the map, then list your products from your phone in a few minutes. Listing is free and there is no commission on anything you sell.
I am a property dealer. How do I add my inventory?
Paste the inventory messages you already send in WhatsApp groups. MartGeo reads the usual shorthand — society, block, plot number, size and demand — and turns it into structured listings automatically. Your daily routine does not change.
I am a kaarigar. How do buyers find me?
Your listing appears under your trade for your area, so someone searching for an electrician, mason or AC technician nearby sees you with your own phone number. Buyers call or WhatsApp you directly.
Does MartGeo take a commission or handle my payments?
No. MartGeo never touches the transaction — there is no payment rail, no delivery and no cut of your sale. Customers contact you directly and you deal with them yourself, exactly as you do today.
Do I have to publish my prices?
No. Price is optional. If you leave it out, your listing shows "Available — contact shop" and customers contact you for the price.

Market intelligence and analytics.
What does MartGeo offer brands?
Brands can see where their products are listed across the marketplace and in which areas demand appears. This is an early-stage feature and the data is still limited to the areas MartGeo currently covers.
