How MartGeo listings work
Who provides the information you see, how it is kept up to date, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
Where the information comes from
Sellers enter their own listings
Every product, plot and service on MartGeo is entered by the shop, dealer or kaarigar themselves through a free seller account. MartGeo does not scrape other websites and does not copy listings from other platforms.
Some listings are imported from what sellers already send
Property dealers can paste the inventory messages they already share in WhatsApp groups. MartGeo reads the shorthand — society, block, plot number, size, demand — and turns it into a structured listing. The dealer reviews it before it is published.
Location comes from the seller
Shops and dealer offices are placed on the map by the seller. Home kitchens are shown at an approximate point in their neighbourhood rather than their exact house, and their street address is never published.
How current it is
Different categories move at different speeds, and MartGeo is deliberate about not claiming more than it knows. A listing tells you what a seller lists — the seller is the authority on today's stock, and every listing carries their own number so you can ask before you travel.
Food (home kitchens and restaurants)
Daily. A dish is published for the day it is cooked and stops appearing once the kitchen marks it finished or its time runs out. Dishes that have finished are shown as finished rather than hidden.
Products in shops
Maintained by the shop. A listing means the shop lists that item, not that it is confirmed in stock at this moment. Always confirm on the phone before travelling.
Plots and property
Maintained by the dealer office that holds the inventory. Plot availability and demand move quickly — confirm with the dealer directly.
Kaarigar (trades)
Maintained by the provider. Their trade and contact number are what MartGeo shows; rates are agreed directly between you and them.
MartGeo does not take payments, does not deliver, and takes no commission, so it is never a party to the deal. That is also why the seller — not MartGeo — is the right place to confirm price, stock and timing.

A closed shop still listed, a plot already sold, a wrong number, a listing in the wrong place — send it and we will correct or remove it. Include the page link if you can.
