Plots in these societies are traded through local dealer offices. Each office holds an inventory list — plots owners have asked them to sell or rent — and shares it daily in WhatsApp groups in a shorthand that looks like this:

- Society — B-17, Faisal Hills (FH), FMC and neighbors
- Block — A, B, C… each block has its own going rates

- Demand — the asking price, in lac and crore. Demand is the starting point; “final” means less room to negotiate. Some listings say “Demand: Ask” — the dealer will quote on contact.

Before you pay anything: verification basics
A dealer listing tells you what’s available; it doesn’t replace verification. For any plot in any society, standard practice is:
- Verify ownership and file status with the society office directly (MPCHS office for B-17; Faisal Hills’ own office for FH) — confirm the plot number, owner name, any dues, and NDC status before token money.
- Possession vs file: confirm whether the plot has possession (you can build) or is a file/ballot situation — prices differ for a reason.
- Written token receipt from the dealer office, with the plot number and terms on it.
- Compare demands across dealers: the same block’s plots are often listed by more than one office. Seeing several listings side by side — exactly what a live list gives you — is how you know whether a demand is market rate or optimistic.
